Fat Joe compares Chris Brown to Michael Jackson, saying, “There’s nobody even close to [him].”

FAT JOE COMPARES CHRIS BROWN TO MICHAEL JACKSON: ‘THERE’S NOBODY EVEN CLOSE TO [HIM]’

Fat Joe has gone out of his way to compliment Chris Brown and liken him to Michael Jackson.

The Bronx rapper took to Instagram Live over the weekend to present Breezy with flowers, claiming he would be on a pedestal if it weren’t for his domestic violence conviction with Rihanna.
“If Chris Brown never got into the controversy with Rihanna, we would be calling him Michael Jackson right now,” he stated. “Unlike Michael Jackson — Michael Jackson. He is today’s most talented singer, artist, performer, and hit producer.

“The streets still bumping R. Kelly,” he said. “He’s in jail, he did terrible things.”

“There’s nothing even close to Chris Brown, and it’s time to move on. There have been no new incidents in the last 20 years that I am aware of. Will we let this lifetime go by without telling the truth?

“What happens is, when the truth is an unpopular decision, everyone is afraid to express it. They are cancelled, especially for renowned people. However, the streets are aware of what is going on. The streets always know, and they tell you the truth.

Fat Joe claimed that despite being sentenced to 20 years in jail for child sexual abuse, the “streets” continue to listen to R. Kelly.
Fat Joe went on to remark that Chris Brown’s catalogue and the number of hits he has deserve greater attention.

“So what I’m tryna say is that it’s a shame that we lying and we not giving it up to the king of R&B,” stated the rapper. “We were thinking he could fight Michael Jackson, that’s all I’m trying to convey. I am not lying. If you look at his entire body of work, including all of his hits, you can see what he does.”
Fat Joe stated unequivocally that he does not condone his behaviour towards Rihanna, but claimed he was a “little kid” at the time.

Joe previously praised Chris Brown in April, calling him the modern-day 2Pac.

“Of course, the 2Pac of 2024 has to be Chris Brown,” he explained at the time. “Chris Brown is considered an alien. If you are playing basketball, he will bust your ass. If you sing against him, he sings and dances better. “If he has to rap, he does.”
